A new era of exams for CSSA & Gradeo
Past papers of the CSSA Trial Exams will be available to students of the NSW syllabus for the first time under a ground-breaking partnership between CSSA and Gradeo.
Operating since 1967, CSSA is the state's premium provider of Trial HSC examinations for Year 12 students, delivering over 200,000 Trial HSC Examinations across 47 HSC courses and nearly 600 schools each year.
Used by nearly two-thirds of NSW students, CSSA Trial HSC examinations are written and assessed by education experts.
As NESA shifts HSC exams online, schools and teachers across New South Wales will now have an accessible option for rigorous, high-quality online test materials.
Gradeo is an education technology company specialising in online assessment to support teachers to assess and students to sit assessments through changing technology. Gradeo combines cutting-assessment technology with trusted test instruments.
“Good assessment is the bedrock of valid measurement of student progress, but it can be time-consuming to develop or source for teachers” said CSNSW CEO Dallas McInerney.
“The CSSA-Gradeo partnership will bring CSSA into the digital era and demonstrates our commitment to quality, accessibility and innovation”, said CSSA Head of Assessment Monica O’Brien.
The Partnership will give subscribers access to nearly 300 tests and 15,000 questions, all mapped to current NSW syllabuses, enabling them to author, test, grade and report on a single platform.
“Almost every current and former HSC student in NSW has sat a CSSA exam at some point. The brand is trusted for its quality. We’re thrilled they’ve chosen Gradeo to propel this offering into hundreds of schools across NSW,” said Gradeo Founder Alex Dore.
