The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Victoria, in partnership with Humanity First Australia, is proud to present the Annual Charity Walk, scheduled for 8 September at Braeside Park, Braeside, starting at 10 AM. This event, honouring the legacy of the late Faraz Tahir, reflects the association’s enduring commitment to supporting social causes that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
The Walk for Humanity is designed to be inclusive, offering routes of 1km, 2km, and 3km to accommodate all ages and abilities. The event will feature family-friendly activities, including food stalls and children’s entertainment, ensuring a day of joy and community spirit.
With a goal of raising over $20,000, surpassing last year’s impressive $15,000, all funds from the walk will be donated to Humanity First Australia. These contributions will directly support essential initiatives, such as winter appeals, disaster relief, and food hamper programmes, helping Australians in need.
This walk is part of a broader spectrum of charitable activities by the association, including the Lifeblood campaign “Faraz’s Gift,” which has already saved nearly 650 lives. The event stands as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that collective efforts can have on the community.
