The most expansive Banksy exhibition ever staged will open at Uptown, Queen Street Mall this November.

 

This September 4 2025 – The Art of Banksy: Chapter 2 is making its world premiere in Australia! After 10 incredible years, 35 cities, and 2.8 million visitors worldwide, this unparalleled exhibition embarks on a brand-new journey through Banksy’s work. Launching exclusively in Brisbane, the exhibition will open to the public on 5 November 2025 at Uptown, Brisbane.

 

This unprecedented new chapter reimagines the iconic exhibition with over 300 artworks - three times the number of previous editions - and features more than 100 original pieces, alongside immersive installations, digital mapping shows, holograms, sculptures, and never-before-seen works.

 

Presented by the masterminds at Muse Entertainment, in partnership with leading global live-entertainment platform, Fever, The Art of Banksy: Chapter 2 offers a multi-sensory experience that transforms the underground energy of street art into a museum-quality encounter. Visitors can expect a radically expanded exhibition, spanning 1,550 square metres - twice as large as the 2023 Brisbane edition - delivering an authentic, thought-provoking journey into the elusive artist’s world.

 

Regarded as one of the most influential artists of our time, Banksy’s creations have captured imaginations and ignited global conversations. Chapter 2 presents an elevated narrative, celebrating Banksy as a living legend while unveiling new stories behind some of his most iconic works, including Cinderella at Dismaland, London Zoo, and the Ice Cream Van. Additionally, a dazzling new hologram display will add a futuristic dimension to Banksy’s satirical vision.

 

Delivered with sharp satire, wit, defiance and social commentary, Banksy continues to shed light on culture, politics, and human rights.

This is not just about art, it’s about stepping inside Banksy’s world and experiencing the message, the humour, and the urgency of his work in a way that has never been done before,” said Kemal Gurkaynak, Managing Director of Muse Entertainment.

 

Aligning with Banksy’s commitment to humanitarian causes, a portion of proceeds from The Art of Banksy: Chapter 2 will be donated to the M.V. Louise Michel organisation, an independent high-speed lifeboat that rescues migrants in distress across the Mediterranean. The vessel was originally purchased with proceeds from a Banksy artwork and continues its mission today.

 

The previous iteration of The Art of Banksy: Without Limits successfully exhibited in multiple international cities over the past decade including Sydney, Melbourne, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Bucharest, Cluj, Budapest, Riyadh, Vienna, Warsaw, Seoul, Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Chile, Seattle, Mexico City. The exhibition is famed for its unique installation in each location, ensuring a new and innovative experience for every visitor. Chapter 2 is set to present the largest and richest Banksy exhibition to date.
