ASA Investor Conference continues with regulators unpacking market implications post-election
Australian Shareholders Association
The ASA Investor Conference 2025 continues today at the W Sydney, following strong national media coverage yesterday, including front-page coverage in The Australian Financial Review and prominent placement in The Australian’s Business section. The coverage highlighted director engagement on ESG and insights from leading portfolio managers. Yesterday also saw the announcement of ASA’s 2025 AGM Focus Issues and the winners of the 2025 ASA Awards.
Today’s program shifts focus to regulators and policymakers, examining the implications of the Federal Election outcome for Australia’s capital markets, investor confidence, and regulatory priorities.
Journalists are invited to attend either in person or via Zoom on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 May.
Hosted by the Australian Shareholders’ Association (ASA), the two-day event brings together more than 300 retail investors, CEOs, chairs, economists and regulators. The program features over 60 speakers across keynotes, panels and workshops, addressing governance, leadership, regulation and investment strategy.

With over 300 people gathering post-election, this conference gives investors a rare opportunity to engage directly with CEOs, chairs, regulators, and economists — the people shaping market outcomes in the year ahead.”
