Australia ranks in the top five donating countries as celebrities and creators including Andy Cooks, LazarBeam, Lachlan Power, Fonzie Gomez, Tully Smyth, Frankie Evans, Lisa Desanctis, Fatima Homran, and Danish Umar join the #TeamWater campaign.

Just 12 days after its global launch, the #TeamWater campaign, led by YouTube stars MrBeast and Mark Rober, has raised over $15USD million to bring clean water to communities worldwide.

More than $5USD million was raised in the campaign’s first 24 hours alone, making it one of the fastest-growing creator-led fundraising initiatives in history.

Australia has emerged as one of the campaign's leading supporters, ranking in the top five countries globally for donations.

Australian creators and public figures, including viral chef Andy Cooks, LazarBeam, Lachlan Power, Fonzie Gomez, Tully Smyth, Frankie Evans, Lisa Desanctis, Fatima Homran and Danish Umar have joined forces with #TeamWater, calling on their audiences to act for clean water.

Powered by a global network of creators from 84 countries with a combined reach of two billion subscribers, #TeamWater aims to raise $40USD million by August 31 to provide clean water access to two million people.

Partnering with WaterAid’s four decades of expertise, the campaign is bringing creator influence together with practical, long-term water solutions.

Model and #TeamWater supporter Frankie Evan’s said

“It’s an honour to be a part of the incredible #TeamWater. Helping the vulnerable regions of the world has always been important to me, so I’m grateful to be a part of this. Everyone should have access to clean drinking water and sanitation.

I’m proud to have joined forces with WaterAid Australia to help bring clean, safe water to communities in need. Being part of this global initiative has been incredibly rewarding, knowing that every contribution helps change lives. Together, we’re proving that social media and community power can make a real, lasting difference in the world.”

WaterAid Australia’s Chief Executive, Tom Muller, said the support from Australians has been vital.

“Australians understand the value and importance of water. Seeing creators and everyday Australians get behind #TeamWater is incredible. Their support is crucial in our mission to deliver sustainable, clean water solutions that will change lives for generations.”

#TeamWater marks the third large-scale environmental campaign led by Donaldson and Rober, following the success of #TeamTrees and #TeamSeas, which together raised over $50 million to plant 20 million trees and remove 30 million pounds of trash from oceans, rivers, and beaches worldwide.

This new campaign harnesses the reach of creators across platforms to mobilise people to take collective action on one of the world’s most urgent challenges, clean water access.

Despite progress, hundreds of millions of people lack access to clean water.  To help close that gap, every dollar donated through #TeamWater will go directly to funding clean water projects around the globe
