Australia’s Built Environment Finally Gets a Dedicated Fire Protection Expo
Fire Security Expo to launch in September 2026 as Australia’s only dedicated fire protection event for the built environment - bringing together the full supply chain for the first time under one roof at ICC Sydney.
The Australian fire safety industry is set to gain a powerful new platform with the launch of Fire Security Expo - the country’s only dedicated fire protection event for the built environment. Running from 2–4 September 2026 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, the event will unite product manufacturers, solution providers, Installers, Consultants, and End-User buyers from across Australia’s $1.6 billion fire protection market. While other events may touch on fire safety, Fire Security Expo is purpose-built exclusively for the professionals who design, specify, install and maintain fire protection systems within Australia’s built environment.
Covering the complete fire safety lifecycle - from detection and suppression to passive protection and emergency systems - Fire Security Expo has been developed in direct response to the industry’s need for a dedicated, purpose-built forum where Installers, Engineers, Consultants and suppliers can connect, collaborate and do business.
Strategically co-located with the Security Exhibition & Conference and Integrate, the three-day event will attract a dedicated audience of 2,000 with a combined audience of more than 14,000 qualified buyers across the three events - including Installers, Consultants, Corporate Safety Managers, Government Officers and Facility Managers - creating unparalleled access to the decision-makers who matter most. Together, the co-located events form a complete platform for the professionals who protect people, assets and infrastructure across Australia.
The National Fire Industry Association is the Official Association Partner of Fire Security Expo, delivering an education program built by fire protection practitioners for fire protection practitioners - ensuring every attendee leaves with knowledge and connections that add real value to their business. The Association’s involvement reflects a shared belief that Australia’s fire protection professionals deserve their own dedicated stage within the built environment, and that the time to build it is now.
Joe Smith, CEO, National Fire Industry Association:
“The NFIA is proud to partner with the Fire Security Expo because it represents exactly what our Industry stands for - collaboration, innovation and shared purpose. This event brings the Fire Protection Industry together as an alliance, working together to strengthen standards, share knowledge and advance fire protection outcomes across Australia.”
Colin Williams, Event Director, Fire Security Expo:
“Installers, Engineers and Consultants are the backbone of Australia’s fire protection industry - and for the first time, they’ll have a dedicated event that matches their expertise and ambition. Fire Security Expo was created to fill a genuine gap in the market, and the National Fire Industry Association immediately recognised its importance to the industry they represent. Co-locating with the Security Exhibition & Conference means we’re creating something far bigger than a trade show: a complete platform for the professionals who protect people, assets and infrastructure across this country. The industry has been ready for this. So are we.”
Whether you’re looking to exhibit, partner, or take part in the education program, now is the time to secure your place at Australia’s most important new event for the fire protection industry. Exhibitor and partner opportunities are available now - connect with the decision-makers who matter most at the only event built exclusively for fire protection within the built environment.
