"Can do" talent recognised at annual Hydraulink awards
Hydraulink Australia
Hydraulic hose, fittings, and service organisation, Hydraulink, has recognised its top talent at its annual awards night, held in Melbourne recently.
Hydraulink network partners, franchisees, and HSSTs (Hydraulink Sales and Service Technicians) all put in strong cases to take out this year’s awards.
“It was another year where competition was fierce, and everyone showed their ‘best under pressure’ attitude,” said Hydraulink Australia Managing Director, Denis Matulin.
“As we look to continuously improve how we deliver maximum uptime and service to our customers, our entire network is crucial to our success, so I’d like to thank everyone for their contributions to Hydraulink,” he said.
“We are always on the lookout for top talent and hardworking people with a good attitude to join the growing Hydraulink network.”
Network partner of the year – Hunter Valley Hydraulink
Hunter Valley Hydraulink Manager, Shane Goodwin, has served his region for more than 19 years, and took out the Network Partner of the Year award for the second year in a row.
Shane credits his hard-working team, who tackle problems for mining, agriculture, engineering, earthmoving, and civil works industries, amongst others.
“The Hunter is a booming region, and we are continuing to grow. I’d encourage people with a ‘can do’ attitude to look into Hydraulink and see how we can support your career growth,” he said.
“Our approach is to always do what we can to solve a customer’s problem, even if the answer isn’t immediately obvious – and people appreciate that dedication to problem solving.”
Franchise HSST of the year – Sascha Humphreys (Northern Hydraulink)
Thomastown HSST Sascha Humphreys has more than 20 years of mechanical engineering experience, and is enjoying taking his future into his own hands with a Hydraulink franchise.
“It’s an honour to win this award, and a little unexpected. The Hydraulink family has been highly supportive as I established my franchise to serve a huge range of industry around Thomastown, which is a big economic generator, north of Melbourne’s CBD,” said Sascha.
“I love technical challenges, and getting machinery back up and running – and generating income – as quickly as possible. Local industries like construction, logistics, earthmoving, manufacturing, process, and waste management appreciate prompt and professional service like this,” he added.
“All the staff I have met throughout this journey into a franchise are well skilled and have outstanding product knowledge. This means I can continue to expand my skills and knowledge as I continue to serve our customers.
Best new network partner – Hydraulink Blackwater
Hydraulink Blackwater owner, Lucas Kelly, says he is driven by very high standards of work and business ethics, as a local who grew up in the tight-knit community of Blackwater, Queensland.
“Winning this award is great recognition of the hard work my team has put in to serve vital industries like mining, infrastructure and heavy haulage operations that value uptime and service,” says Lucas.
“We try to be as flexible as possible, and come out promptly when our customers need us. They value our knowledge, attention to detail, and efficient service,” he said.
