Groovin’ in the Grove
On Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, take mum to Groovin’ in the Grove at Watercress Creek Olives and Limes. The event will feature a live musician and picnics in the grove from 2pm till 6pm.
Picnics and food are available to pre-order and can include olive and lime produce, loaded baked potatoes, chicken skewers and creamy vegetable soup from $45 including entry. Entry only without food is $35 (food will be available to purchase on the day if you require).
Mother’s Day picnic

This community picnic event will see bespoke picnics up to 30% off for Mothers Day. The gorgeous grounds of the old church are ready for a dreamy experience to celebrate the special figures in your life.
On offer is chill’d picnics, sunshine styled settings, pod picnics or enchanting bell tents along with cafe drinks. Each picnic will come with a flower posie and one of two divine platter options, a delicious hearty option with treats and rolls or a ‘soulfuel’ option with tasty bites and treats.

Plant trees for mum
Pack a picnic and plant a tree to honor and celebrate the special women in your life.
Enjoy a family-friendly morning while helping to restore the banks of Bundamba Creek in this important waterway corridor.
Every mother or carer registered will receive a complimentary gift and treat to enjoy at the planting.
This project site is one of nine priority Ipswich sites to be restored with funding from the Australian Government’s Urban Rivers and Catchments Program, with support of Ipswich City Council.
Breakfast at Brothers
Treat mum to a special day and choose from breakfast, lunch or dinner with prizes at Brothers.
For breakfast, Brothers are hosting a hot buffet with sittings at 7.30am and 9am. Mums will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles! Pre-paid bookings are essential, prices start at $39.50 for members and $15 for kids 12 and under.
Lunch and dinner specials of flame-grilled porterhouse with garlic roasted potatoes and pan-roasted Atlantic salmon with lemon and chive risotto will be available. Prices are $35 for members.

On Mother’s Day Club Services Ipswich is holding a buffet breakfast from 6.30am-9.30am and every mum receives a gift.
Treat mum to a delicious gourmet breakfast with live entertainment. The morning includes raffles with great prizes up for grabs, along with lucky door prizes and each much gets a free gift.
Buffet lunch at Orion Hotel
Treat mum to a special lunch at Orion Hotel this Mother’s Day.
There are two seatings, 11am-1pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.

The Handmade Expo Mega Mother’s Day Market
Don’t miss the chance to shop up a storm with mum, or by yourself for a gift on Saturday May 10 at The Handmade Expo’s Mega Mother’s Day Market.
There will be more than 110 stalls, selling handmade items including woodwork, candles, clothing and local produce.
There will also be live music, food trucks and face painting on the day.
