Bring in the New Year at one of Sydney’s top spots with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Tickets go on sale Monday 24 November at 10am and tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Blues Point Reserve will host food trucks and live music with the Steff Domazet Duo and Sydney-based DJ Shanie D and DJ James Alexandr until the iconic Sydney fireworks light the sky.

Capacity will be limited to 8,000 people at $50 a ticket plus booking fees.

Blues Point offers one of the best vantage points anywhere on the harbour,” said Zoë Baker Mayor of North Sydney.

North Sydney Council is introducing cost-recovery ticketing to ensure that residents won’t have to foot the bill to cover the costs of visitors attending New Year’s Eve celebrations, and to ensure that it’s an enjoyable night for both residents and visitors.”

Blues Point Reserve will open from 11am to 12.30am to ticketholders only. Other popular North Sydney vantage points that will remain family-friendly, free-entry sites are Bradfield Park, Mary Booth Reserve and Lavender Bay Parklands.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan their trip early, use public transport and check transportnsw.info for live updates. Further details about ticket sales and event information will be available at northsydney.nsw.au/NYE
