Sydney, 8th April - Delta Electronics (Australia) is pleased to once again hold its Delta Connect industry summit, after a successful inaugural year in 2024. The invitation-only event returns to Sydney today, with over 100 influential industry experts in attendance.
As Delta Australia’s premiere industry event, Delta Connect serves as a platform for meaningful industry dialogue and knowledge sharing, with a focus on the power of technology and innovation to facilitate a greener, more sustainable future for all.
Following the event, Delta Electronics Australia and its partners will share further details and insights from Delta Connect’s presentations and discussions, as the technology community charts a course together for a more sustainable Australia.
The theme for Delta Connect 2025 is Innovation in Action and will be helmed by some of the tech industry’s top thought leaders, including experts from AirTrunk, Origin Energy and KPMG Futures. The event programme will be facilitated by veteran ABC journalist and broadcaster, Juanita Phillips.
Besides expert presentations covering a range of tech-focused hot topics including future mobility and electric vehicle adoption, AI data centres and sustainable supply chains, several panel discussions will also offer debate and insight sharing into smart grids, the future of energy technology, and building a sustainable future for Australian Industries.
Guests will also have the opportunity to explore Delta’s latest innovations at the Delta Connect Innovation Hub, featuring interactive product displays, live demonstrations, and in-depth discussions with Delta’s technology experts. The Innovation Hub will highlight a range of advanced solutions across Delta’s industry-focused ecosystems, including building and industrial automation, data centres, energy storage and management, and electric vehicle charging. Additionally, the exhibition will showcase the outcomes of Delta’s pioneering coral restoration initiative in the Asia-Pacific region.
Delta Connect 2025 takes place today at Sydney Harbour in Pyrmont, bringing together industry leaders to explore the future of technology and sustainability. The event will culminate in a gala dinner hosted by Delta Australia, celebrating leadership and innovation in the country’s tech sector.
Aligned with the event’s focus on sustainable progress, Delta continues to drive global ESG initiatives, including its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, its commitment to circular economy principles, and the development of energy-efficient solutions across smart cities, renewable energy, and green buildings. Prashant Murthy – Chief Financial & Commercial Officer at AirTrunk
AirTrunk is a leading hyperscale data centre provider in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Prashant leads finance, commercial, and strategy to drive responsible and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, AirTrunk has secured over A$7 billion in ESG financing and introduced the world’s largest Sustainability-Linked Loan for a data center, earning widespread industry recognition. In 2024, he was named Digital Infrastructure Finance Leader of the Year at The Tech Capital APAC Finance Awards.
Chau Le – General Manager for e-Mobility at Origin Energy
Chau leads Origin’s e-mobility team, driving efforts to support customers in transitioning to electric vehicles with seamless, end-to-end solutions. His team is developing a comprehensive suite of offerings, including EV subscriptions, smart charging, and integrated energy solutions. In addition to his role at Origin, Chau serves as Chair of the Electric Vehicle Council, advocating for progressive government policies to accelerate the growth of Australia’s EV industry.
James Mabbott – Partner at KPMG Futures
James leads research into emerging trends and their business impact at KPMG Futures, working at the Board level to identify opportunities for innovation, disruption, and new business models. He also oversees KPMG's investments in future technologies, including quantum computing, AI, and Web3. With extensive experience across multiple sectors, James serves on advisory boards for leading academic institutions.
