Childcare no place for LGBTIQA+ sexual and gender fluid ideology

Family First Party

Family First will move to protect toddlers from harmful sexual and gender-fluid indoctrination at childcare centres if elected at the up-coming South Australian, Victorian and NSW elections.

This follows revelations that an Adelaide childcare centre is today introducing 18-month to four-year-olds to LGBTIQA+ concepts as part of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

Family First agrees with parents of the Margaret Ives Community Children's Centre who spoke anonymously to the media for fear of being falsely labelled as “homophobic”.

“Parents are not happy as the option of when and how to introduce the topic of sex, sexuality and gender issues is being taken away from (them),” they told the media.

“These are serious and private topics that the parents feel need to be discussed when the family and child is ready - not dictated by a childcare centre.”

Family First believes there is no place for LGBTIQA+ indoctrination of children in childcare, or for that matter, any part of the early childhood or schooling system – full stop.

A staff member of the Adelaide childcare centre wrote a blog which lays bare the anti-parents’ rights agenda of LGBTIQA+ ideology which has infiltrated the education system.

“We respect the identity of each child that is shared with us by their parents/caregivers unless the child explicitly informs us otherwise.”

In other words, if a two-year-old tells a childcare centre worker she thinks she might be a boy trapped in the wrong body, the parents’ view will not be respected.

In a letter to parents, the childcare centre management said:

“At Margaret Ives, we work intentionally to challenge gender stereotypes and ensure authentic representation of the many ways people live, love, and form families.

“We guide children to understand and value that families can take many forms – whether nuclear, single parents same-sex parents, foster or surrogate parents, blended families and beyond.”

Family First believes mainstream parents would not appreciate their children being taught that it is ethically okay for adults to deny a child the love of their mother or father through surrogacy or sperm donation.

These are deep ethical concepts that should be debated in parliament, not forced down the throat of toddlers at daycare.

Weak and woke politicians have allowed harmful LGBTIQA+ political ideology to run unchecked throughout the education system.

Family First is building a political movement to protect parents’ rights, the innocence of children and the freedom of citizens to discuss these issues without fear of lawsuits.
