Opening the China and Australia to publishers and cultural institutions is Australian author Susanne Gervay OAM of Elephants Have Wings, Parrot Palace, I Am Jack books, Heroes of the Secret Underground and other award winning books.

The Public Day is Saturday 22nd August. A China‑themed Book Fair and Cultural Creative Products Exhibition brings together Australian and Asia Pacific literature, design, heritage, and contemporary creativity. With, cultural demonstrations, publisher showcases, cultural creative products, book stalls open to all ages. Enjoy the Tea Culture Corner with Tea samples, Yixing teapots, Cultural symbolism of the dragon, phoenix, plum blossom.
