CIMIC's Leighton Asia selected for the development of camp facilities in Indonesia

CIMIC Group company Leighton Asia has been awarded contracts by BP Berau Ltd. (bp) for the development of camp facilities for its Tangguh Ubadari, CCUS, Compression (UCC) Onshore Project in Indonesia.
Leighton Asia will deliver two phases of bp’s Phoenix Camp comprising new onsite housing and recreational facilities for workers. The project will use prefabricated modular buildings to support timely delivery and operational efficiency, and will include mechanical and electrical installations, furniture and fittings, and common facilities. The camp will provide accommodation for 1,500 personnel.
CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaría said: “We’re proud to continue our collaboration with bp through the delivery of camp infrastructure that supports the operational continuity of the Tangguh UCC Onshore Project. This initiative reflects our commitment to safety, reliability and contributing to Indonesia’s energy future through practical, on-the-ground solutions.”

Since 2003, Leighton Asia has collaborated with bp to deliver a variety of projects to support Tangguh, including UCC Onshore Project.
