COLGATE LAUNCHES ITS BEST EVER TOOTHPASTE RANGE

Colgate

Colgate, a global leader in oral healthcare, has relaunched Australia’s number one toothpaste1, Colgate Total. The new range is centred around active prevention, offering a superior formulation to help address seven common oral care  issues18

The new Colgate range is led by the Total Active Prevention Deep Clean toothpaste. It has additional toothpaste variants that suit varying consumer preferences and oral care needs, along with a floss, rinse and toothbrush, encouraging a complete healthy mouth regime.

Colgate Total addresses the root causes of seven common oral care issues, including cavities, tartar, plaque, bacteria, stains, enamel erosion and bad breath.

Amelia Seselja, Scientific Affairs and Public Health Manager at Colgate said, “We know that most oral care issues are largely preventable. The new and improved Colgate Total Active Prevention Toothpaste is our best toothpaste yet. By making this simple switch, Aussies can be more proactive in the care and state of their oral health, to help prevent more costly dental concerns down the track.”

Toothpaste

The Total Active Prevention Deep Clean Toothpaste is clinically tested to provide 24-hour2 antibacterial protection. It is formulated with a rich, dense foam and high-cleaning microparticles that helps prevent the formation of tartar along the gumline and on the teeth. It is three times3 more effective at fighting a root cause of tartar, cavities and bad breath. The Total toothpaste range is formulated to suit different preferences, from strong to low mint, and high to low foam and charcoal.

Mouthwash

The Colgate Total Active Prevention Mouthwash provides 24-hour antibacterial protection4. Designed for superior performance to help prevent many common oral care issues5, the Colgate Total mouthwash fights the root cause of bad breath, plaque and tartar. Experience long lasting protection with the alcohol free6, clinically tested formula with refreshing clean mint flavour. Used twice daily, mouthwash helps to improve oral hygiene by reducing bacteria that brushing alone may miss.

Floss Picks

The Colgate Total Active Prevention Floss Picks slide easily between teeth, with a shred-resistant design.  An important part of your daily oral hygiene routine, the Total Floss Picks help fight the root cause7 of: plaque, tartar buildup, tooth decay between teeth and along the gumline. Designed for a more enjoyable flossing experience, the mint flavoured floss also features a flexible, lightweight handle for easier cleaning8 and a pick for additional interdental needs; whilst also giving you peace of mind that the Floss is PFAS free with a handle made from 100% recycled plastic.

Toothbrush

As an essential component that completes your oral care regime, the Colgate Total Active Prevention Toothbrush helps fight the root cause9 of cavities, plaque, bacteria on gums, bad breath, tartar buildup10 and stains11.

Featuring floss-tip bristles12 that clean hard to reach areas most prone to dental problems, the high density head design has two times more bristles13 and helps create a rapid foaming action for deeper toothpaste delivery14

The New Colgate Total range provides consumers with the oral care products to create an oral care regime.

“Our clinical study demonstrates that by using the Colgate Total Regime, including the Colgate Total toothpaste, toothbrush and mouthrinse, 100% of people achieved a healthier mouth in just 3 weeks16. This regime is proven to be 15 times more effective at fighting a root cause15 of many oral care issues” adds Amelia Seselja.
