With just one week remaining until the highly anticipated World Business Forum Sydney, executives from across the Asia-Pacific region are preparing for an unforgettable experience at the ICC Sydney on November 13-14, 2024.

This year’s event promises powerful insights and networking opportunities, featuring an impressive line-up of global thought leaders, including headliner Andre Agassi, who will share his journey of high performance and resilience. Alongside Agassi, an array of exceptional speakers will delve into the event’s central theme, "Purpose PLUS," inspiring attendees to integrate purpose-driven strategies within their organisations.

“This year’s forum is unlike any other,” said Daniel Hernandez, APAC Director at WOBI.

“Our theme, ‘Purpose PLUS,’ encourages leaders to integrate purpose with strategy to drive resilience and long-term growth. Attendees can expect to be challenged by some of the brightest minds in business and beyond, each of whom brings invaluable, actionable insights relevant to today’s complex business landscape.”

Organised by WOBI in major cities around the globe, The 2024 World Business Forum I Sydney will feature globally recognised speakers, including:

Gary Hamel, an influential business strategist, who will tackle the art of building agile organisations in a rapidly changing environment.

Cathy Freeman, Olympic icon, who will explore the power of diversity, inclusion, and resilience, drawing from her experiences as a trailblazer in Australian sports.

Anne Chow, former CEO of AT&T Business, offering her perspective on creating high-performance cultures grounded in trust and transparency.

Nouriel Roubini, esteemed economist, who will provide a critical analysis of global economic trends affecting the business world.

Radhika Dirks, an AI and Quantum Computing authority, will offer practical strategies for organisations looking to innovate through next-generation technologies.

Lisa MacCallum, founder of Inspired Companies and former VP of Nike, will address the evolving role of purpose-driven leadership in talent management and business performance.

Marcus Collins, Chief Strategy Officer at Wieden+Kennedy, will discuss the powerful influence of culture on branding and consumer behaviour.

Richard Hall, Professor, Senior Director of the Monash Global Leadership Development Program, and Deputy Dean at Monash Business School, will delve into becoming a self-differentiated leader, the five mindsets for transformative leadership, and how creating a culture of organisational learning can enhance collaboration, performance, and problem-solving capabilities.

“The World Business Forum is about more than just learning; it’s about transformation,” Hernandez explained.

“Our goal is to equip leaders with insights and strategies that are immediately applicable, helping them navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities unique to the APAC region.”

“We’ve designed this year’s forum to foster genuine connections. By creating more intimate spaces for dialogue, we aim to enable lasting partnerships that have the potential to shape the future of industries across the region.”

This year’s agenda also introduces a greater emphasis on immersive and hands-on learning, a direction Hernandez says reflects the evolving needs of business leaders.

“We’re committed to making the content not only inspiring but actionable. Our attendees will experience real-world case studies and interactive sessions that empower them to make bold, impactful changes within their organisations.”

The World Business Forum has long been recognised as the premier business gathering in the APAC region, thanks to its commitment to high-quality speakers, cutting-edge topics, and a memorable attendee experience.

“What sets us apart is our attention to detail. From the venue and production quality to the carefully curated line-up of speakers, we ensure every aspect of the forum inspires, engages, and exceeds expectations.”

For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available, offering live-streamed keynotes, interactive Q&As, and post-event access to content, ensuring the World Business Forum’s insights reach audiences worldwide.
