BRISBANE, Australia--BUSINESS WIRE--

Gino De Pasquale, Founder and CEO of Elepay, proudly attended the 15th Annual Celebration of the Su Mon Wong Scholarship for Excellence in Marketing at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), recognised globally as one of the leading institutions for marketing education. This prestigious event honoured two new scholarship recipients, each set to carry Su Mon Wong’s legacy of customer-focused marketing excellence.

Fifteen years ago, Gino and notable contributors such as David Moffit and David Pradella helped establish and fund the Su Mon Wong Scholarship in tribute to his mentor, Su Mon Wong. As a classically trained marketing professional, Gino credits Wong's teachings with much of his success at Elepay and in business leadership.

“I owe much of my business philosophy to Su Mon Wong, particularly my focus on customer-centric approaches,” said Gino.

“At Elepay, we have a simple but powerful vision: to promote and protect the interests of Australian property owners. This belief underpins everything we do, and tonight, I was reminded of the timeless importance of the CARE principle - ‘Customers Are Everything.’”

Reflecting on his career, Gino emphasised the enduring impact of his mentor’s wisdom.

“Su Mon Wong’s passion for marketing has left an indelible mark on me. A successful business is always built around the needs of its customers, and my journey as CEO of Elepay is driven by an unwavering focus on customer support, retention, and delivering exceptional value.”

As a proud QUT ambassador, Gino expressed his honour by standing in the shadow of Su Mon Wong while mentoring many scholarship recipients over the years. The scholarship provides financial support and invaluable mentorship, a role Gino has wholeheartedly embraced.

Recognised for its leadership in marketing education, QUT continues to develop world-class talent through the Su Mon Wong Scholarship. Gino’s work at Elepay remains firmly rooted in Wong’s principles, ensuring its commitment to its customer-first philosophy.

As the evening concluded, Gino expressed his gratitude.

“Su Mon Wong’s teachings have shaped me, Elepay, and countless others. Tonight is a powerful reminder of giving back and supporting the next generation of marketing leaders. I am proud to continue this enduring legacy.”
