UNSW academic Dr Rahman Daiyan is available to comment on the deal agreed by Australia and USA to boost supplies of rare earths and other critical minerals.
Dr Daiyan is a senior lecturer and Scientia Fellow at UNSW's School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering.
He works on the bilateral supply chains for energy and resource exports.
