• The online auctions will take place across 2 days on the 29th and 30th of June, open to buyers nationwide.
Thousands of hospitality, events, and operational assets from Brisbane’s former Victoria Park precinct will go under the hammer in a major three-part auction series conducted by Lloyds Auctions with every item starting at just $1.
The sale follows the precinct’s official closure on 31 May 2026 after notice to vacate was issued to facilitate construction of the new Brisbane 2032 Olympic Stadium.
“This is a substantial commercial asset liquidation with thousands of items being offered across three separate auctions in one day,” said Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer, Lloyds Auctions.
“With all assets starting from $1, the sale presents an opportunity for businesses and buyers to secure practical equipment and operational stock across a number of categories,” continued Mr. Hames.
The auction will include commercial hospitality equipment, events infrastructure, vehicles, furniture and fit out from former Victoria Park operations, along with golf and groundskeeping equipment. The offering spans thousands of items across the site’s hospitality, leisure and operational areas.
Victoria Park operated for 27 years and became one of Brisbane’s most recognised inner-city destinations for sport, leisure and hospitality, hosting weddings, corporate functions, public gatherings and golf-related activity across the precinct.
As the site moves into its next phase, the operational contents of the venue are being released to the market across three auction sessions, providing access to equipment and infrastructure previously used throughout the precinct.
The sale is expected to attract interest from hospitality operators, event hire businesses, golf-related buyers, landscapers, facilities managers and small businesses seeking commercial equipment and operational assets.
“The range of assets reflects the scale of the former Victoria Park operations, from hospitality and events equipment through to golf, grounds and broader site infrastructure,” said Mr. Hames.
The three-part auction series will be held on the 29th and 30th of June 2026, with auctions closing from 10am both days and the final auction closing from 2pm on the 30th. Buyers across Australia will be able to participate online, with further catalogue and inspection details available at lloydsauctions.com.au
