Flood update – 23 schools will be non-operational on Monday 

Twenty-three schools will be non-operational on Monday 4 August following the severe weather event that affected the Mid North Coast, Hunter and Central Coast. The list of schools is available on our website. 

If you have been told that your school is closed, please keep your children at home. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our highest priority. 

Importantly, if a school is closed, it will not be offering supervision to students.  

Learning from home resources will be made available for all students. Schools continue to be the first point of contact on educational matters throughout this time.  

Some schools remain closed until we can safely assess potential impacts to school sites. We will conduct these assessments as soon as it is safe to do so.
