For all that cancer takes, give hope this Daffodil Day 2025
Cancer Council ACT
- Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic and loved campaign which raises funds for life-saving cancer research.
- Almost 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85
- This year, Daffodil Day is on Thursday 21 August
For all that cancer takes, give hope this Daffodil Day.
For all that cancer takes - family, friends, workmates and moments that we won’t get back - Cancer Council ACT is asking our Canberran community to come together on Thursday 21 August (or any time throughout August) to give it your all against cancer.
Marking our 39th year of Daffodil Day, every dollar raised supports Cancer Council ACT in funding world-class local cancer research, helping save lives and moving us closer to a cancer-free future.
In celebration, we’ll even be lighting up some of our most iconic buildings in Canberra yellow on Wednesday 13 August 2025!
We all have the ability to create change in the lives of people impacted by cancer by funding life-saving cancer research. So, join us this Daffodil Day, and give hope for better treatments and better outcomes.
With your support, it’s all of us against cancer.

Your fundraiser can be as big or as small as you like, the only requirement is that you have FUN!
3. Daffodil Day Dip

Dip into Lake Burley Griffin, the ocean, a pool or even a bath – just make it cold!
4. Donate
Make a donation today and help bring us closer to a cancer-free future. No matter how you do Daffodil Day- whether you’re braving the cold with a Daffodil Day Dip, hosting a morning tea or buying a bunch (or 10)- the more we give, the more lives we can save.
