Gender fluid Census questions drive families away from major parties

The census is being used as a weapon to normalise harmful gender-fluid ideology and further confuse children, Family First National Director and NSW Legislative Council candidate Lyle Shelton said.
“There’s no place for rainbow political activism in Australia’s data premier collection project. It’s no wonder voters are abandoning the major parties.
“Australians have not been asked whether they accept the pantheon of rainbow gender identities activists assert to be true, but which biology and reality deny.
“Rainbow political activists might have captured the bureaucrats in the Canberra bubble who are running the census, but it should not be assumed that mainstream Australians are on board.”
This year’s census reportedly contains a question about “sex recorded at birth” and topics to do with “sexual orientation and gender”.
“Families are tired of the radical left’s culture wars and don’t want them in the census. Families are deeply concerned that their children are being indoctrinated without their permission.”
Mr Shelton said it was not “inclusive”, as census bureaucrats assert, to erase mothers and fathers in place of Parent 1 and Parent 2.
“A child cannot be the product of a same-sex relationship and the Census should not be a tool to further alienate him or her from his or her mother and father.”
Mr Shelton called on the Albanese Government to pull questions from the census which could confuse children about the nature of parenting and the reality of biological gender.
