Giant SWING attraction arrives in Chatswood this April
Willoughby Council
Standing at nine metres tall and painted a striking yellow, SWING is an eye-catching attraction designed for everyone, including wheelchair users. Whether you're soaring through the air or simply watching the joy unfold, this unique public artwork is an unmissable experience.
Mayor Taylor said SWING is a fantastic temporary addition to Chatswood’s vibrant public spaces: "SWING is pure joy, it’s about community, play, and experiencing something truly unique in the heart of Chatswood. Whether you're taking a turn on the swing or watching the delight on people’s faces, SWING is not to be missed.”
Originally commissioned by the City of Melbourne and the Naomi Milgrom Foundation, SWING has delighted crowds across Melbourne, Newcastle, Adelaide, and Tasmania. Now, it’s Chatswood’s turn to swing into the spotlight. A launch event will be held to celebrate the arrival of SWING, with Mayor Tanya Taylor and Willougby City Councillors in attendance.
