Why:
In 2018 GRNSW introduced the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase, the richest greyhound event in the world, which culminates with a Grand Final at Sydney’s Wentworth Park in October where the winner will collect a $1 million prize.
The Million Dollar Chase is more than just one race however, with the series weaving its way through Regional NSW before the contenders head to the city for the finals.
In total, 17 venues across NSW have hosted qualifiers for the MDC this year, with greyhounds and participants from as far away as Wagga Wagga, Broken Hill and Dubbo all earning their place in the semi-finals to be run at Wentworth Park this Friday, October 10.
The winners of those eight semi-finals head back to Wentworth Park on Friday October 17 where someone will leave the Glebe venue a millionaire.
