Hamish McLachlan & Tony McEvoy Share Powerful Moments from The Guardian of Change Exhibition
KIDS Foundation
The KIDS Foundation has released a moving Video News Release (VNR) capturing highlights from the opening of The Guardian of Change exhibition, held Tuesday night at 161 Collins Street.
A standout moment was a stunning live performance by Awheata, a survivor from the Exford Bus Crash, who sang Shallow to a captivated audience. Despite having no formal training, Awheata’s voice moved the room, and thanks to the Foundation, she’s now receiving singing lessons and regularly attends Injury Recovery Camps.
The VNR also features reflections from:
- Hamish McLachlan, KIDS Foundation Ambassador
- Caitrin Kelly, Chair of the MRC Foundation
- Tony McEvoy, leading trainer
The exhibition runs until Friday and continues trackside at the Caulfield Cup Carnival. All proceeds support the KIDS Foundation’s trauma recovery programs.
