- Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong has partnered with Geelong Foodshare for its Gift of Giving campaign, running from 1 November 2026 to 15 January 2027, during which a portion of revenue from every business event or celebration hosted at the hotel will be donated to support food insecurity across the Greater Geelong region.
- Geelong Foodshare currently supports more than 20,000 people each week across the region through its network of frontline agencies, Social Supermarkets, and community programmes.
- The campaign coincides with the festive season, encouraging businesses to book end-of-year functions, Christmas events, conferences, and team gatherings at the hotel.
- Event packages include two-course menus from $79 per person, three-course menus from $95 per person, and canapé packages from $48 per person, with flexible spaces accommodating intimate gatherings through to larger events of up to 64 guests banquet-style.

Geelong, 21 September 2026 – Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong is partnering with Geelong Foodshare this festive season, giving businesses and organisations another reason to come together while supporting people experiencing food insecurity across the Greater Geelong region.
From 1 November 2026 to 15 January 2027, a portion of revenue from every business event, meeting, conference or celebration hosted at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong will be donated to Geelong Foodshare, helping support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity across the Greater Geelong region.
The campaign is part of the hotel’s ongoing efforts to support the local community and comes at a time when businesses are planning meetings, business event, end-of-year celebrations, Christmas functions and team gatherings.
“The festive season is a time for coming together, and we wanted to create a way for those celebrations to have an impact beyond the event itself,” said Kruno Velican, General Manager of Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong.
“Through our partnership with Geelong Foodshare, every event hosted with us during the Gift of Giving campaign will contribute to supporting people and families in our local community. It’s about celebrating together while giving something back to the community we are proud to be part of.”
Geelong Foodshare works across the Greater Geelong region to strengthen food security, providing access to nutritious food through its network of frontline agencies, Social Supermarkets and community programs. The organisation currently supports more than 20,000 people each week across the region.

The Gift of Giving campaign is supported by a range of event packages designed for end-of-year celebrations, from two- and three-course menus to canapé and beverage packages. The hotel's flexible event spaces can accommodate intimate gatherings through to larger celebrations, with the main 102-square-metre plenary room seating up to 64 guests banquet-style, while the adjoining spaces can accommodate larger events.
