Infosys Launches Dedicated Global Security Operations Center in Australia; Expands Cybersecurity Capabilities across ANZ
Edelman on behalf of Infosys
Infosys has launched its first dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Australia, at its North Sydney office. The GSOC will bring together specialist security talent, established operations capabilities, and proven delivery processes under Infosys’ global security framework. Following Infosys’ acquisition of The Missing Link, a leading Australian cybersecurity services provider, the GSOC further expands the Company’s cybersecurity capabilities across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), delivering trusted, onshore cyber defense for enterprises and government organizations.
The GSOC will deliver 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, combining local cyber expertise with Infosys’ global security ecosystem. The center will provide compliance support for organizations in highly regulated industries. Building on The Missing Link’s established operations capability and deep local talent, the GSOC will aim to enable faster response times, improved threat visibility, and stronger overall cyber resilience.
The GSOC launch reflects the increasing demand for onshore cybersecurity services as organizations across ANZ navigate rising cyber threats and evolving compliance obligations. Through its managed security services, Infosys offers end-to-end protection across cloud, network, and application environments, supported by advanced threat intelligence and analytics. Offensive security capabilities including penetration testing and red teaming – will further help organizations proactively identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their defense posture.
Designed as a scalable, future-ready platform, the GSOC integrates local delivery with Infosys’ global consistency and scale and a foundation for AI led security operations – reinforcing Infosys’ commitment to building security capabilities in key markets. As cyber threats grow in complexity and frequency, the GSOC strengthens Infosys’ position as a trusted cybersecurity partner for enterprises and government organizations across Australia and New Zealand, helping them safeguard critical operations, meet regulatory requirements, and build long-term cyber resilience.
