The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is proud to announce the launch of the new ITECA Mobile App, designed to provide tine-critical information to independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and higher education institutions.
Independent RTOs support around 90.5% of the 5.1 million students in skills training across the country and around 10% of the 1.6 million students in a higher education award program. In this context, the ITECA Mobile App looks set to become a key information resource for the quarter of a million people employed in the tertiary education sector.
“The app also offers essential insights for journalists, business leaders, government officials, and politicians who need to stay informed about developments in the skills training, higher education, and international education sectors,” said Troy Williams, ITECA Chief Executive.
The ITECA Mobile App is a one-stop platform offering easy access to a wealth of information and analysis. The app leverages official government data to offer timely analysis, ensuring users have the insights they need to make informed decisions.
“With detailed data on the performance of the skills training system, including enrolment statistics, users can gain a clear picture of trends and issues impacting both independent RTOs and the broader training and education landscape,” Mr Williams said.
Beyond data, the app also features a regularly updated summary of key events within the sector, making it easier than ever to track significant developments.
“Whether it's major policy announcements, sector conferences, or government consultations, the ITECA mobile app ensures that users are always up-to-date with what's happening in the skills training, higher education and international education sectors,” Mr Williams said.
