Basketball, music and culture collide this November as King of the Court (KOTC) returns to Melbourne for the biggest 3v3 streetball event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Taking over RMIT’s A’Beckett Urban Square on November 8- 9, the event will transform the city into an urban playground of hoops, beats and community – headlined by tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios, who joins as Official Judge of the Slam Dunk Contest. He’ll be courtside to judge some of the world’s best dunkers, including Chris Staples (USA), Guy Dupuy (France), Tyler Currie (USA) and Brodie Stephens (AUS).

International Lineup, Local Energy

This year’s tournament welcomes elite teams from Japan, New Zealand, China and France, competing in both King and Queen of the Court (QOTC) World Finals. The weekend will also feature high-energy DJ sets led by Soju Gang, and the return of the crowd-favourite ‘Who’s Got Next’ Rap Battle, and the debut of the Chemo Finds Sunday Street Market – celebrating the best of urban style with vintage fashion, tooth gems, tattoos, jewellery, art and more.

Expect a full-day cultural experience at this free, all-ages event, complete with food trucks, barber pop-ups and lifestyle vendors, turning RMIT’s city court into a hub of sport, sound and style, from morning ‘til night.

Champion x Reebok: Powering Streetball from Grassroots to Global

This year global sportstyle icon Champion and footwear powerhouse Reebok unite to elevate the game from grassroots to elite.

  • Champion returns as Naming Rights Sponsor and On-Court Apparel Partner, outfitting all players in custom teamwear and continuing its commitment to the communities driving basketball culture.

  • Reebok joins as Official Footwear Partner, supporting grassroots athletes and shining a spotlight on women’s basketball, with players competing in the Reebok Engine A and Angel Reese 1 throughout the weekend.

Building on Champion’s rich basketball heritage — from outfitting the NBA and WNBA to its current role as Official On-Court Apparel Partner of the NBL — the partnership underscores the event’s growing global credibility.

Fans will also have the chance to win big throughout the weekend with giveaways from Champion and Reebok, including a rare, custom-made Reebok Shaq Attaq shoe in Shaquille O’Neal’s original size 22 - built for the big man himself.

Exclusive Capsule Drop: Champion x KOTC 2025

To celebrate the event, Champion x KOTC will release a limited-edition capsule collection on November 8, featuring 200 exclusive Reverse Weave® hoodies and tees, available both on-site at the event and online at Champion.com.au.

The collection, designed by artist and player Carlo Camp, draws inspiration from the Japanese characters for “Honour” and features an image of a man and woman leaping for the jump ball — symbolising inclusivity and the spirit of streetball culture.

“King of the Court has evolved into something far greater than a tournament - it’s a celebration of community, culture and creativity. With Champion and Reebok on board, we’re pushing the boundaries again this year. The mix of sport, style and energy is unlike anything else in Australia,” said KOTC founder, Mitch Lang.
