Lakeba Group Appoints Mitchell Filby as Independent Non-Executive Director

Sydney, 14 September 2026 — Lakeba Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitchell Filby as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 1 September 2026.

Mitchell brings extensive experience across strategy, innovation, commercialisation, technology, digital transformation and market development, together with more than a decade of Board-level and industry governance experience.

His appointment strengthens the Lakeba Board as the Group continues to develop, scale and commercialise businesses across its portfolio, with an increasing focus on artificial intelligence, technology-enabled services and new commercial opportunities.

Mitchell is the Founder and Managing Director of First Rock Consulting, where he advises organisations on strategy, innovation, technology application, commercial market development and business transformation. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with global technology organisations, enterprise customers, channel partners and emerging technology businesses across Australia and international markets.

He brings particularly deep experience in the global office technology, document imaging and Managed Print Services industries, including an understanding of both direct and indirect channel models, enterprise customer requirements, technology commercialisation and the evolving role of artificial intelligence within workplace and document ecosystems.

Mitchell brings more than 10 years of Board Director experience with the US-based Managed Print Services Association (MPSA), where he has also held senior leadership roles across a number of industry committees. His broader career has included executive, advisory, innovation and commercialisation roles supporting established businesses, technology ventures, start-ups and industry organisations.

Mitchell holds a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Strategic Management, from the University of Technology Sydney.
