HEADLINE: Leading medical provider Emergency Logistics Solutions secures three-year race deal at Bathurst
Gold Coast, Queensland - Emergency Logistic Solutions (ELS) has secured a three-year contract to deliver trackside emergency medical services for Challenge Bathurst, locking in the specialist pre-hospital medical provider as the event's medical partner for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
The agreement extends a long-standing relationship between ELS and one of Australia's most iconic and most demanding motorsport events, with the 2026 event running from Thursday 19 November to Sunday 22 November, across SuperSprint, Regularity, and performance road-car sessions at the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit.
Known to competitors as "Conquer the Mountain," Challenge Bathurst gives drivers the rare chance to take their street or race cars onto the same 6.2km circuit that hosts the Bathurst 1000 and Bathurst 12 Hour, in one of the most iconic locations for Australian motorsport.
For ELS Director Jeremy Collins, this announcement aligns with the business's long-term relationship with Australian motorsport, where it is positioned as one of the leading providers of on-track emergency care.
"This is, without doubt, one of the larger events we run annually, and we're excited to be locked in for the next three years to provide emergency medical support for participants,” said Mr Collins.
“As a business, we are passionate about the Australian motorsport industry, and Challenge Bathurst demonstrates our capability and capacity to help safeguard the health and wellbeing of drivers in the event of an incident happening, where seconds matter. Our fully trained trackside trauma teams are equipped to deal with the many types of accidents that can occur during car racing, and they will be deployed rapidly to the scene of the incident via our rapid response media chase vehicles and fully equipped ambulances."
Challenge Bathurst is delivered in partnership with Motorsport Australia, the Bathurst Regional Council and Challenge Series Holdings, and is regarded as one of the most challenging circuits in the country; being entrusted with safeguarding the people who race it is a responsibility ELS takes seriously.
For Challenge Bathurst, ELS deploys a full motorsport medical and trackside response operation: trackside trauma teams, rapid-response medical chase vehicles, fully equipped ambulances carrying scheduled drug stock under the company's Queensland and New South Wales drug licences.
The company's heritage is in motorsport medicine, and trackside response at high-speed, high-consequence events remains a core specialty.
The planning includes coordinated patient extraction and retrieval pathways from the point of incident through to the receiving hospital, and every clinician is briefed on the circuit's specific risks before the race even starts.
Motorsport is where ELS started, and it remains central to the business, with the company acting as the long-term medical partner to Queensland Raceway, where it runs a permanent on-site clinic and covers hundreds of events a year.
It also delivers event medical support across selected Powercruise, Norwell Motorplex and track days across Queensland and New South Wales.
Beyond the track, ELS delivers on-site and event medical cover for high-risk worksites and remote operations across mining, oil and gas, film, events and construction with clients including Tier 1 operators such as Rio Tinto, BHP, Glencore, Thiess, John Holland and Stanwell.
