Lime shouts brekky in Melbourne as Ride & Refuel makes good parking a treat

To mark the rollout of new designated parking bays across the City of Port Phillip, Lime is launching Ride & Refuel: Park Like a Pro – a community activation that rewards riders for parking responsibly.

The initiative kicks off on Thursday 18 September at 88 Acland Street, St Kilda, where riders can stop by between 7:30am – 10:30am to enjoy a complimentary, green-themed treat, such as a matcha latte, fresh green juice or croissant/cookie.

Lime’s Head of APAC William Peters said that responsible parking is at the heart of safe and sustainable micromobility.

“Through initiatives like Ride & Refuel, we’re rewarding good habits and celebrating the investment in new parking infrastructure in the City of Port Phillip,” William said.

“We’re proud to lead the way in shaping a tidier, more accessible Melbourne. By working together with local councils and our riders, we can create streets that are safer, easier to navigate and more enjoyable for the entire community.”

Riders will be guided through ending their trip in one of Lime’s new designated parking bays and correctly uploading their end-of-trip photo. By taking these simple steps, they’ll be reinforcing safe parking habits while helping Lime create a cleaner, more sustainable streetscape for everyone to enjoy. Lime’s First Ride Academy will also be in full swing to help new riders learn the basics, with free rides available throughout the morning.

The Ride & Refuel: Park Like a Pro activation is part of Lime’s ongoing commitment to building cleaner, safer and more sustainable cities. By supporting riders who do the right thing, Lime is helping set a new standard for micromobility in Melbourne and beyond.
