Cairns, QLD — Cairns book lovers are in for a treat this Love Your Bookshop Day, with special guest Lachlann Carter dropping into Cairns Books on Saturday 11 October, 2025 for a fun and inspiring book event celebrating all things books.

Lachlann is the author of the hilarious and action-packed Big Trouble series. These fast-paced adventure stories packed with chaos, friendship, and plenty of laughs have quickly become favourites among young readers, with fans loving their wild twists, quirky characters, and just the right amount of mayhem.
