Locksley Resources Completes LiDAR Survey Advancing U.S. Antimony Production Plans
Jane Morgan Management
Perth, Australia – Locksley Resources Limited (ASX: LKY, OTCQX: LKYRF, FSE: X5L) is pleased to announce the completion of a high-resolution underground Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) survey at its Desert Antimony Mine (“DAM”) Prospect, located within the Mojave Project in San Bernardino County, California.
The survey has delivered a detailed 3D representation of historic underground mine workings, providing a clear framework to guide upcoming resource drilling and redevelopment planning. The LiDAR data confirms approximately 236 metres of underground development across four levels spanning a 130-metre strike length. Three mineralised quartz-carbonate-stibnite veins were mapped, corresponding to areas of historical production.
Locksley Managing Director & CEO, Kerrie Matthews, said:
“The LiDAR dataset has given us an increased level of geological detail and understanding of historical mining at the Desert Antimony Mine that didn’t exist before. The survey has confirmed the position of the historically mined stibnite-bearing veins and the quality of this data materially enhances our ability to progress drilling design with far greater precision. Importantly, this work also underpins our broader Mine-to-Metal US growth strategy by supporting a fully domestic antimony supply chain in the U.S.”
Strategic and Technical Milestone
Completion of the LiDAR survey represents another key milestone in Locksley’s U.S. critical minerals strategy. The data enhances geological understanding as the Company advances toward the re-development of the Desert Antimony Mine and further supports Locksley’s broader Mine-to-Metal strategy aimed at establishing a 100% American-made domestic antimony supply chain.
The survey’s results provide a robust technical foundation for ongoing engagement with U.S. Government strategic funding initiatives, including the U.S. Export-Import Bank Letter of Intent (LOI) and Department of Defense programs designed to rebuild domestic critical minerals capacity.
Next Steps
The LiDAR data is being integrated into an updated 3D geological model to refine drilling targets and resource estimates. Detailed geological mapping of the underground workings is scheduled for November, alongside assessments of ground conditions to enable targeted sampling and grade verification, subject to safety clearance.
