The Logan Iftar 2026: Diverse Communities Unite in Logan to Send a Clear Message — Unity Is Strength

As national conversations intensify around identity, division and political polarisation, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association — active across Australia and strongly rooted in Queensland — will host The Logan Iftar 2026 on Saturday, 14 March at the Stockleigh Mosque.

Bringing together political leaders, faith representatives, and local residents, the Logan Iftar is structured not merely as a religious observance, but as a civic gathering — where public leadership and grassroots community share the breaking of the fast side-by-side.

The message is simple and timely: division weakens societies — unity strengthens them. A diverse nation working across differences is more resilient than one that retreats into uniformity.

Guests do not simply attend a dinner; they experience Ramadan.

For Muslims worldwide, Ramadan is often described as a spiritual bootcamp — a month of disciplined fasting, prayer, charity and self-reform. In an age where self-improvement often requires books, seminars and specialists, Ramadan annually delivers a structured month of moral renewal directly into the homes and hearts of billions simultaneously.

Every year, across continents, individuals commit to shedding harmful habits, strengthening discipline, increasing compassion and striving to become better citizens. When billions engage in that collective reset at once, the impact extends beyond individuals to families, communities and nations.

At a time when global political shifts and domestic debates are shaping public sentiment, the Logan Iftar presents a local story with national relevance: a fast-growing multicultural corridor demonstrating that diversity, grounded in shared civic values and mutual respect, is a source of strength.

Last year’s event drew cross-party representation, including attendance on behalf of the Premier, with reflections on moral leadership resonating strongly among attendees.

At its heart, the Logan Iftar is about dissolving barriers through lived understanding. Communities are strengthened not through slogans, but through shared human experience. For many guests, this will be an opportunity to encounter Ramadan in a way they may never have before.
