City of Sydney
Dive into the start of summer with a free visit to a world-class City of Sydney pool on Saturday 6 December.
Our action-packed open days will see our aquatic and fitness centres buzzing with activities in and out of the pool.
As well as free pool entry and fitness classes, visitors can expect games, family fun and giveaways. Health advice, membership specials and early Learn to Swim enrolments will also be on offer. Summer treats will be available throughout the day, including free gelato at our outdoor pools.
Check out any one of these 6 aquatic centres from 6am to 8pm:
- Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, The Domain
- Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Zetland
- Prince Alfred Park Pool, Surry Hills
- Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Ultimo
- Victoria Park Pool, Camperdown
- Cook + Phillip Park Pool, Sydney
“It’s the perfect time to either have a dip in your favourite pool or visit somewhere you’ve been meaning to try,” Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore AO said.
“Our pool and fitness centres are real community hubs. Bring your family and friends to our open days for a free swim, class or game. We’d love to see you there.”
Visit What’s On to find out more about activities running at each of our centres on the day.
