STEPS Pathways Charity is inviting the Sunshine Coast community to enjoy an enchanting evening of celebration and fine dining at the annual STEPS Grand Winter Ball, raising vital funds to support brighter futures for young people with a disability and autism through STEPS Pathways College.
Taking place on Saturday 25 July at the Sunshine Coast Function Centre, the black-tie gala will feature Australian Idol winner Marshall Hamburger and special guest Melissa Doyle AM.
Returning for the third consecutive year, STEPS Pathways College Ambassador and beloved television personality Melissa Doyle AM shared her excitement for the occasion, saying she can’t wait to attend the iconic event.
“The STEPS Grand Winter Ball is such an incredibly uplifting evening, meeting the students and knowing we are all contributing to ensure they can achieve their dreams,” Mrs Doyle said.
“I never cease to be inspired by the students at STEPS Pathways College. They are strong, proud young men and women, learning the skills to lead independent and purposeful lives. We all want a future full of hope and promise for our kids, so it is an immense privilege to champion the STEPS Pathways College students and their goals.”
The STEPS Grand Winter Ball is presented by Caloundra RSL and supported by several partners, including Ken Mills Toyota, Prima Commercial Fitouts, Pippa Colman Family Law, and Kilcoy Global Foods, with the latter donating award-winning premium beef to the decadent three course menu.
STEPS Pathways Charity Manager Katrina May said that attendees of the STEPS Grand Winter Ball will enjoy an unforgettable night while making an impact on their community.
“Our STEPS Grand Winter Ball guests will have the opportunity to see first-hand the impact of their support on the lives of these fabulous young people,” Mrs May said.
“Many of our current STEPS Pathways College students will be in attendance, and it is incredible to see their faces light up when they know everyone in the room is there to help them create a brighter future full of independence.”
Tickets to the STEPS Grand Winter Ball are now on sale and available at stepsgrandwinterball.com.au.
