Battle for Winter Warrior 2026 starts today

What: Students from schools across NSW schools will converge on Lake Keepit Sport and Recreation Centre this week for Winter Warrior 2026.

Over two days, students will put their strength, stamina and teamwork to the test over a 15-kilometre obstacle course that includes a mud pit, spartan spear toss and long-distance paddle.

In teams of six, students will compete across three divisions – boys, girls and mixed – for the title of Winter Warrior 2026 with prizes also awarded for the best dressed team.

For the first time in the event’s history, primary school students will compete in the Rising Warrior Division.

When: 10am Tuesday, 11 August 2026 (Rising Warrior Division) and 10am Thursday, 13 August (Winter Warrior Division)
