Peak nursing and midwifery bodies and leading nursing providers will transform Mural Hall to showcase contemporary, solutions-focused models of care and demonstrate how nurses and midwives can address some of the country’s most pressing health challenges.
The Parliamentary Friends of Nursing event will feature live health demonstrations and direct engagement between parliamentarians and frontline nursing and midwifery leaders.
What media will see on the day:
- Clinical capability and innovation through hands-on demonstrations of advanced assessment, skills, and models of care, including ear and skin checks, emergency response, midwifery care, women’s health, urgent care, allergy management, street healthcare, snakebite and fishhook injury management, and smart glasses remote care technology.
- Aged care technology and regional and remote care models in action.
- Nursing and midwifery leaders speaking on culturally safe healthcare, workforce reform, innovation and the future of care.
- Cross-party parliamentarians engaging directly with contemporary health solutions.
