People from across the climate, environment and union sector will assemble outside opposition leader Peter Dutton’s address to the Committee for Economic Development Australia to say: WE CAN’T AFFORD NUCLEAR!

Expect banners, signs and chants along with music and flying cash, illustrating the high cost of nuclear reactors to the environment, climate and hip pocket.

“Peter Dutton needs to deliver a policy to cut energy bills and climate pollution this decade, not a fantasy of nuclear reactors decades in the future,” said Elly Baxter, senior campaigner at Solutions for Climate Australia.
