Melrose Wharf Official Project Launch - 2,404 New Homes Including 378 Affordable: Largest Infill Affordable Housing Project in NSW

Official launch of the Melrose Wharf water-front precinct - the largest approved Infill Affordable Housing SSDA Project in NSW - following its approval last month.

Melrose Wharf will be a significant contributor to the Western Sydney community, including:

Delivery of 2,404 residential apartments.
378 new affordable housing apartments, with 24 dedicated to Parramatta Council in perpetuity.
Direct investment of $1.15bn, creating 482 construction jobs and 219 ongoing operational jobs.
More than 2.5ha of open space, including almost 15,000m2 of public foreshore parks, which will be landscaped and dedicated to Parramatta Council.
More than 1,100m2 of new retail floorspace.

The launch event will mark the project’s transition from demolition and early works towards construction.
