Sydney, NSW — IIKO Mazesoba is celebrating Moon Festival with a playful, pet-friendly twist, bringing together limited-edition Tsukimi-inspired dishes, tea pairings, pup treats, live illustrations and fundraising for Pound Paws.
Taking place on Saturday, 5 September, Moon Paw-ty invites guests and their furry friends to enjoy a special dog-friendly lunch at IIKO Mazesoba while helping support the rehoming of pets in Sydney.
Inspired by Japan’s Tsukimi, or moon-viewing tradition, IIKO Mazesoba will be serving a Moon Festival-inspired Tsukimi menu set for humans, paired with a specially selected tea by East Forged Tea. For four-legged guests, Chonkers will be serving Asian-inspired pup treats, including a Muttcha Latte and mini bento box for dogs.
Guests will also have the opportunity to take home a keepsake from the day, with illustrator Yoki Zhou of @yokizdesign offering live human and pet illustrations. Illustration sessions start from $25 per human and pet pair, with additional charges for extra humans or pets.
The event will also raise funds for Pound Paws, an Australian charity helping pets find loving homes. Guests are encouraged to come along, enjoy the festivities, and support a meaningful cause that helps rehome pets across Sydney.
Bookings are essential, with limited spaces available. Guests who book will also receive a special goodie bag on the day.
