Workforce Directory
- Workforce Directory, a new Australian online platform launched in June 2026, brings together more than 6,000 HR and workforce provider listings, and is free for employers to search at workforcedirectory.com.au.
- The directory covers more than 20 service categories and 270 specialist workplace service types, including recruitment, payroll, employment law, workplace safety, and wellbeing, with AI assisted search matching to help employers find relevant providers by service and location.
- The platform is designed to give employers a more direct way to research and compare suppliers without relying solely on internet searches, word of mouth, or early sales conversations with individual providers.
- Providers across Australia from sole practitioners to national firms, can claim a free listing or upgrade to a paid listing with expanded profile and visibility options.
- Workforce Directory was founded by Darren Cutts, whose 30 years of HR experience informed the platform's development, with the aim of keeping buyers in control during the early research stage and helping specialist providers gain visibility beyond their existing networks.
MELBOURNE, 4 August 2026 - A new Australian online directory with more than 6,000 HR and workforce provider listings is helping employers find, compare and contact specialist service providers.
Launched in June and based in Melbourne, Workforce Directory is live at https://workforcedirectory.com.au and free for employers to search.
The directory covers more than 20 service categories and 270 specialist workplace service types. AI assisted search matching helps HR managers, operations leaders, founders and business owners find providers by service and location, review relevant options in one place and decide whom to contact.
This gives buyers a more direct way to research suppliers without relying only on broad internet searches, word of mouth or early sales conversations with individual providers.
For vendors, category and location listings provide visibility when prospective buyers are researching relevant services. Safety specialists, recruiters, employment lawyers, payroll firms, workforce technology vendors and HR consultants can claim a free listing or upgrade to a paid listing with expanded profile and visibility options.
Examples of the directory’s service categories include:
- Wellbeing and mental health
- Industrial relations and employment law
- Talent acquisition and recruitment
- Payroll and workforce administration
- HR technology and digital transformation
- Workplace safety
Listings are open to providers across Australia, from sole practitioner consultants and specialist firms to national payroll and recruitment businesses.
“I built Workforce Directory drawing on more than 30 years of experience in HR, both working inside businesses and as a consultant,” said Darren Cutts, CEO and Founder of Workforce Directory.
“During that time, I saw that employers often know the workplace problem they need help with, but not the range of providers available.
“Workforce Directory gives them one place, supported by AI assisted search matching, to see relevant options and decide who they wish to contact. It makes the early research stage more direct and keeps the buyer in control.”
Mr Cutts said the platform could also help specialist providers become visible beyond their existing networks.
“A smaller consultancy may offer exactly what an employer needs but still be difficult to find,” he said.
“For providers, the value is being visible at the point a buyer starts looking. They can begin with a free listing and decide whether a paid profile is worthwhile for their business.”
Searching Workforce Directory is free. Providers can claim or upgrade a listing at https://workforcedirectory.com.au
