PAYMAN DEMANDS AN APOLOGY
Senator Fatima Payman
Brisbane Radio 4BC uses Extremely Offensive Term
Western Australia’s only independent Senator, Fatima Payman, is demanding an apology from Brisbane radio station 4BC for publishing an offensive, misogynistic term in relation to her.
The revolting, sexist headline, which the Senator does not want to repeat, can be seen in this link: Gen Alpha slag in the senate? Fatima Payman strikes again - 4BC
“Never, in 2025 did I ever expect to have this word used in relation to me, and I demand an apology,” Senator Payman said.
“It is a misogynistic slur, and a terribly offensive one.”
“I expect 4BC to delete the webpage and to post a full apology in its place, and I will be writing to the station’s owners, the Nine group, to institute disciplinary action.”
Senator Payman is available for comment today in Canberra.
