Registrations are now OPEN for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea 2025

Cancer Council ACT

This May, Cancer Council ACT is encouraging Canberrans to gather with their friends, family, and workmates for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea – to raise a cuppa and share a bite to eat whilst raising much needed funds to alleviate the impact of cancer in our local community.

Cancer Council ACT CEO, Verity Hawkins, said this year Cancer Council ACT aims to raise $200,000 to support its work in our local community, including provision of cancer information and support services, delivery of education and prevention programs, and funding of local cancer research grants.

With almost 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, all of us will be impacted by cancer at some point in our lives," Ms. Hawkins said

"This is exactly what inspires hundreds of Canberrans to host their own Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea each year

"It’s all about bringing people together in support of this important cause that impacts all of us."

A much loved and successful fundraiser, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea has been bringing communities together and raising vital funds to support those affected by cancer for the last 32 years.

Each morning tea is as unique and personal as the stories behind it. Whether you’re hosting with friends and family, at work, or with your local community, make it personal and host your way," said Ms Hawkins

Although Thursday 22nd May is the official date to host a morning tea in support of Cancer Council ACT Canberrans can host as an individual, community group or workplace any time in May or June.

To get involved, register a morning tea today or donate at biggestmorningtea.com.au
