Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) reports high antimony recoveries from Antimony Ridge metallurgy test work

Initial rougher flotation test work shows near complete recovery of stibnite from lower grade samples, supporting Resolution’s broader Horse Heaven critical metals strategy

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX: RML; OTCQB: RLMLF) has reported encouraging initial metallurgy results from its Antimony Ridge project, part of the Company’s broader Horse Heaven Antimony-Tungsten-Gold-Silver Project in Idaho, USA.

Rougher flotation test work conducted by IMO labs in Perth, Australia, on lower grade Antimony Ridge samples achieved high sulphur recovery of 99.5%, indicating near complete recovery of stibnite, the key antimony sulphide mineral, during the rougher concentration stage.

The results are significant given the sample contained 10.5% antimony, which Resolution says provides an encouraging indication that stibnite could potentially be recovered even where high grade antimony material is diluted by surrounding waste or gangue during extraction.

The Company said the results also support previously reported metallurgical work, including the production of a 99.38 wt.% antimony trioxide product from large stibnite samples collected from Antimony Ridge’s historical open pits using conventional pyrometallurgical volatilisation.

Further flotation test work is now underway, with subsequent cleaner stages designed to lift concentrate grades from approximately 30% antimony to more than 50% antimony. Hydrometallurgical processing test work on Antimony Ridge samples is also underway at ANSTO in Australia.

Resolution said the work forms part of its strategy to develop a hydrometallurgical processing hub for antimony in Idaho, amid a lack of modern antimony processing options in the United States.

Antimony Ridge was selected for FAST-41 Transparency Coverage by the U.S. Permitting Council, which is expected to accelerate permitting timelines. The project has an application for 250 drill holes and large-scale bulk sampling.

The project forms part of Resolution’s Horse Heaven strategy, which also includes recently acquired processing infrastructure, tungsten stockpiles and a major 2026 drilling program at Golden Gate. Resolution is set to commence a 13,700 metre Phase 2 drilling program at Golden Gate on 7 May 2026, aimed at defining the scale of gold and tungsten mineralisation and supporting progression toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.

Previously announced 3D modelling at Antimony Ridge has shown numerous known antimony and silver bearing veins, vein swarms and stockworks across an area of approximately 1,000 metres by 700 metres, highlighting the project’s scale potential.

Antimony Ridge is located immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project, a recently permitted antimony-gold project currently in construction. The local district has a long history of antimony production, including during World War I, World War II and the Korean War, when antimony was supplied to support the U.S. war effort.

Dr. Adam Roper, Resolution’s In-house Senior Metallurgist, stated: “The initial concentration results in rougher flotation test work are very encouraging from Antimony Ridge samples. Capturing virtually all the antimony sulphides is an excellent sign of a simple and robust processing flowsheet for antimony. I’m looking forward to discussing further results in the coming weeks.”
