Mount Hotham is experiencing a significant blizzard, bringing deep snow and challenging conditions. Visitors are advised that the area is best suited for experienced skiers and snowboarders during this period.
For people who are travelling to Hotham for sight-seeing and snow play, the advice to ensure safety and access, is to please travel via the Bairnsdale-Omeo route and head directly to the Hotham Hub, where a new tobogganing centre has opened for families and snow lovers, with an enclosed space for shelter.
