• Over 240 teams will depart Adelaide on Saturday 15th August for a seven-day, 3,700-kilometre journey to Darwin, driving cars worth no more than $1,500 as part of the Shitbox Rally.
• Since launching in 2010, the event has raised more than $68 million for cancer research, making Box Rallies one of Australia's largest non-government funders of cancer research.
• Every team commits to raising a minimum of $5,000, with 100 per cent of donations going directly to Cancer Council; this rally alone has already raised over $2 million.
• Participants will navigate some of Australia's most remote roads, facing breakdowns and mechanical challenges whilst united by the shared goal of helping create a future free from cancer.

Adelaide is the start line on Saturday 15^th August for one of Australia's largest community fundraising events when more than 240 teams will depart, embarking on a seven-day, 3,700-kilometre journey to Darwin in cars worth no more than $1,500; roadworthy, registered with no 4WD or AWD allowed.

Since launching in 2010, participants have raised more than $68 million for cancer research, making Box Rallies one of Australia's largest non-government funders of cancer research. Every team commits to raising a minimum of $5,000, with 100 per cent of donations going directly to Cancer Council to support life-saving cancer research. This rally alone has already raised over $2 million.

The Adelaide to Darwin rally will see participants tackle some of Australia's most remote roads, overcoming breakdowns, dust and mechanical challenges—all united by one purpose: helping create a future free from cancer.

Along the way, participants are welcomed by regional communities across the country, with friendships formed over roadside repairs, shared campfires and unforgettable adventures.

As the convoy heads north to Darwin, participants will prove that extraordinary things can happen when Australians unite behind a cause that touches almost every family.

Wednesday 19 August – Daly Waters, NT via Tennant Creek 

Thursday 20 August – Timber Creek, NT 

Friday 21^st August – Finish Line in Darwin via Victoria River Roadhouse, Katherine and Pine Creek

Cars will start arriving from 4:00pm - it will take approx. 2hrs for all cars to finish… or not make it!

 

Saturday 22nd August - Post Rally CAR AUCTION - no reserve on any cars.

7:30am - Cars arrive. 10am - Auction starts. 12pm - Auction concludes
