STEPS Pathways College students take on Ready STEPS Cook culinary challenge

STEPS Pathways College is preparing for Ready STEPS Cook, a fast-paced and feel-good cooking competition inspired by hit TV show Ready Steady Cook and set to take place on Wednesday 21 May 2025, celebrating the students’ progress on their journeys to independence.
Six students from STEPS Pathways College – three Day Program students and three Boarding Program students – will team up with their Trainers and go head-to-head in a cook-off, judged by celebrity chef Matt Golinski.
Australian food personalities Kim McCosker (4 Ingredients series) and Kate Bracks (MasterChef Australia Season 3 winner, Fifty Acres Gelato) will lead the student teams as captains.
STEPS Pathways College Principal Stephanie Patey said the event is an exciting way to showcase the life skills being developed at STEPS Pathways College, the first and only College of its kind in Australia for young adults with a disability and autism.
