Swarovski Illuminates Met Gala Looks by Tommy Hilfiger, Robert Wun, and Wales Bonner

New York, NY May 6, 2025 – Swarovski celebrated 130 years of savoir-faire and mastery of light at the Met Gala 2025, infusing looks by Wales Bonner, Robert Wun, and Tommy Hilfiger with exceptional shine.

Damson Idris arrived in an APXGP car from the upcoming film, F1, wearing a spectacular Formula One-inspired crystallised helmet and Tommy Hilfiger-branded custom race suit. Taking his look from the racetrack to the red carpet, the helmet was entirely hand-embellished with nearly 20,000 blue, red, and white Swarovski Crystals.

Country music star Shaboozey made his Met Gala debut in a custom-tailored design by Robert Wun. Blending a Western cowboy aesthetic with a modern take on a dandy-inspired black moiré suit, the bold look was completed with a belt of beaded chains accented with 2,900 Swarovski Crystal beads in jet black.

Wales Bonner crafted two custom looks for the Met Gala, worn by singer FKA Twigs, singer and actor Omar Apollo. The two ensembles shone with 10,200 Swarovski Crystals, embroidered by renowned French atelier Lesage and highlighting the Austrian House’s precision craftsmanship with mixed cuts of crystals including leaf, teardrop, pear shape, and round beads.
