Team Ignition’s flagship digital series, The Team Ignition Show, is officially live with its second season - and it’s hitting at full throttle. The adrenaline-fuelled series has delivered a standout run of episodes celebrating some of Australia’s most fearless, boundary-pushing talent from across extreme sport and high-risk disciplines, cementing its place as one of the most unflinching digital series in the space right now.

Hosted by globally respected commentator and action-sports icon Selema Masekela, each episode unfolds in two parts: first, an action-driven experience where guests invite Selema to step directly into their world - whether that’s strapping into a stunt plane or facing down a gravity-defying FMX line - followed by an intimate sit-down that digs into the psychology of risk. The fear, the failures, the obsession, and the moments that changed everything.

The Team Ignition Show explores the mindset, discipline, and nerve required to operate where the margins for error are razor-thin - and the consequences very real.

Guests featured so far include:

Jarryd McNeil – One of the most decorated freestyle motocross riders of all time, the Australian Nitro Circus star and X Games medallist takes audiences inside the split-second decisions that define FMX at its peak. His episode pulls back the curtain on why the sport is as brutal as it is beautiful, the injuries that come with relentless progression, and how his signature Whip helped turn sideways airtime into one of the most iconic crowd-pleasing moves in action sports.

Emma McDonald – Australia’s only female aerobatic pilot delivers a front-row seat to the dizzying world of high-speed flight. Her episode charts an extraordinary career pivot from pole fitness champion to elite world-class pilot, explores the legacy of her flying family, and recounts the heart-stopping moment she struck an eagle while flying upside down at 200mph.

Brodie & Dylan Pawson – Parkour pioneers pushing free running from the streets into mainstream film, television and global culture, the Australian twins unpack a discipline often misunderstood as pure risk. Their episode explores how they see cities through “parkour eyes,” how thousands of hours of training make the impossible look effortless, and the precise mental calculations behind every viral moment.

Trent “Maxi” Maxwell – From the beaches of Bondi Rescue to the fireground, Australia’s youngest-ever Bondi lifeguard turned full-time firefighter brings viewers to the frontline of emergency service. Maxi’s episode offers a look at what it truly means to run toward danger - from rip rescues and fatal house fires to witnessing people on their worst days - and the mental resilience required to stay calm when everything is on the line.

Upcoming episodes dive into the world of extraordinary innovators and elite athletes pushing the limits of what’s possible. Featured talent includes Richard Browning, the British inventor known as the real-life Iron Man, who is redefining mountain rescue with his jet suit technology. with the series also showcases high-speed competition with Christine GZ, one of the world’s fastest rally and off-road drivers.

Filmed across Australia, Europe, and North America, the series captures stories that can only be unlocked by someone deeply embedded in extreme sports culture - and trusted by the athletes who live it.

Selema Masekela said:

“Most of my career has been rooted in the storytelling of who perform at the highest level while simultaneously engaging risk. This series as allowed me to experience first-hand what that means. Pulling 8Gs in aerobatic flight with Emma McDonald allowed me to literally step into her world and understand the depth of skill set and calculation, and confidence required, in order to make what appears impossible, look effortless. I am having all of the fun on this show and we’re just getting started.”

A Team Ignition spokesperson added:

“The Team Ignition Show was created to bring audiences closer to the mindset behind high-performance achievement. This season continues our commitment to telling stories about extraordinary people who choose environments where precision, courage, and preparation - both mental and physical - make all the difference. We want audiences to feel the intensity, discipline, and human drive behind every performance.”

Team Ignition is also the official sponsor of Nitro Circus, the multi-platform phenomenon co-founded by Travis Pastrana. Together, Nitro Circus and Team Ignition continue to amplify the world’s most progressive action sports through live events, digital content, and global broadcasts.
